Today’s Haslemere Herald gives incorrect date for VISION FOR HASLEMERE meeting

HAVE YOUR SAY

The new Localism Act gives local communities a range of new rights, including the right to develop a neighbourhood plan, the right to bid to take over the running of services from local authorities and the right to buy assets for the benefit of the community.

How can we use these rights to create and realise a vision for Haslemere? Come to an open meeting which will explain how we can all get involved in deciding the future of our town.

Haslemere Museum – Friday 28th September, 7.30pm. (It is not on the 27th September 2012, as reported in The Haslemere Herald).

Because we all have a right to have our say, someone once said “Never have a meeting if you could have a party instead.” After the meeting there will be a bar and music. Stay and get to know your fellow residents.
