Proposed works on Wey Hill (Fairground) Car Park Common (CL 340)

Sue Arnott, an inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will hold an inquiry at The Royal School, Farnham Lane, Haslemere, Surrey, GU27 1HQ on 8-10 April 2014 into an application by Robert Anderton on behalf of Waverley Borough Council for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out works on Wey Hill Common (CL 340).

The proposed works are the refurbishment of the Wey Hill car park, including the installation of pay and display ticket machines.

The inquiry will begin at 10.00 hours on 8 April 2014.  Anyone can attend the inquiry.  Anyone who wants to be heard on the subject matter of the application may, at the discretion of the inspector, give evidence at the inquiry or arrange for someone to do so on his/her behalf.

Copies of the application form and accompanying documents may be inspected at Waverley Borough Council Offices, The Burys, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1HR during normal office hours from 11 February 2014 until the end of the inquiry.
