Meeting with stakeholders this evening with the Chair of the Waverley Local Committee

We reported on 24th February 2012 that David Hodge had intervened in the parking row as reported by The Haslemere Herald.

The Haslemere Action Group Against The Proposals, Haslemere Chamber of Trade, residents’ associations (Lower Street, Shepherds Hill, Kings Road, Longdene, Pope’s Mead, Weydown Road, Beech Road, Lion Lane, St Christopher’s Green, St Christopher’s Road, Tanners Lane, Courts Mount Road, Courts Hill Road, Bridge Road, Chestnut Avenue), The Haslemere Society, the town council, St Bartholomew’s School, St Stephen’s Church, Shottermill Infant School, Haslemerre Hall are all due to meet with Pat Frost, the Chairman, the Surrey County Council Local Committee in Waverley in a private meeting in Godalming tonight at 7pm.

The Haslemere Herald reported:

It follows a letter pleading with county council leader David Hodge to intervene, which was sent to his home address by action group members Nikki and Jeremy Barton.

Mrs Frost said the purpose of the meeting was to listen to a representative of each the groups who had contacted her.
