Legal fees spent by @WaverleyBC on public inquiries

Waverley Borough Council has set aside £30,000 for legal fees for the Wey Hill Fairground public inquiry. Via an FOI request, this is a breakdown of what WBC has spent on recent public inquiries. (Note Undershaw is not included as this was a judicial review. WBC spent £7,300 on legal fees regarding Undershaw in 2011.)

According to Councillor Carole King, the additional funding from £20,000 to £30,000 for the Wey Hill inquiry was allocated “in view of experience at other planning inquiries”.
